King Tutankhamun arrives on SA shores (1716 hits)

The 1922 discovery of the tomb of the ancient Egyptian king Tutankhamun is considered one of the greatest archaeological finds of the 20th century.

Now, South Africans can also dig into the history of this mystical child king, who lived and died more than 3,000 years ago.

The exhibition "Tutankhamun - His Tomb and His Treasures" is on at Silverstar Casino, west of Johannesburg, until March next year.
