Memorial Day is on its way and many across the country are preparing for it.
Some look at it as a day off from work, and a time to relax and unwind, and
some actually honor the real purpose of this day set aside for our Military
Soldiers.
I remember one Memorial Holiday I hosted a party and my brother and I made
a sign to place on the wall that said "Happy Memorial Day"! One of the Soldiers
that attended the party was offended by this sign because he said that this
holiday is not the time to celebrate, but a time of mourning and honoring the
Soldiers who died in the line of duty.
As I see us preparing for the holiday I am reminded to be conscious of how I
choose to celebrate this holiday. Now is a great time to review the real
meaning. Here is a resource to help us know more:

Have an honorable Memorial Day Weekend.
