Deliver highly complex solutions with significant system linkages, dependencies, associated risk. Lead and perform development efforts such as analysis, design, coding/creating, and testing.

Deliver highly complex solutions with significant system linkages, dependencies, associated risk. Lead and perform development efforts such as analysis, design, coding/creating, and testing.

1. Oversee and participate in testing, implementation, maintenance, and escalated support of Truist's most complex solutions.

2. Development includes but is not limited to customized coding, software integration, analysis, configuring solutions, or the use of tools pertinent to the area, project, or system to configure or generate a solution.

3. Ensure adherence to company and industry standards. Provides technical consultation on extremely challenging or unusual situations.

4. Write and run unit tests.

5. Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.

6. Interpret internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices.

7. Use sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgment and identify innovative solutions.

8. Mentor less experienced teammates to build technical expertise.

9. Does not have management responsibilities. This position serves as the technical expert on the team and is often the strongest engineer, answering and solving the most complex, unusual issues, but does not have the skills nor the interest in management.

10. In an Agile environment: Act as an Agile champion. Responsible for delivering high quality working software and automating manual/reusable tasks working directly, and consulting with, the business from the beginning of the design work. Leverage continuous engineering practices to deliver business value regarding effectiveness of the design. Actively participate in refining user stories. Responsible for development and developing unit testing, and supporting integration and functional testing. Responsible for providing warranty support and providing knowledge transfer to production support. Develop code in accordance with the acceptance criteria established by the Product Owner.

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelors Degree and six to ten years of experience or equivalent education and software engineering training or experience

2. In-depth knowledge in information systems and ability to identify, apply, and implement IT best practices

3. Understanding of key business processes and competitive strategies related to the IT function

4. Ability to plan and manage projects and solve complex problems by applying best practice

5. Ability to provide direction and mentor less experienced teammates. Ability to interpret and convey complex, difficult, or sensitive information

Preferred Qualifications:

Masters degree and 8+ years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience At least 6 years of experience in all the phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including Requirements Gathering, Analysis, Design, Development, Testing and Deployment. At least 4 years of implementation experience in Mule ESB over Anypoint Studio and AnyPoint Platform. Banking or financial services experience Experience in Waterfall & Agile development methodologies. Technical experience on various components of Anypoint Platform like Design Center, Exchange, API Manager, Runtime Manager, Anypoint visualizer and monitoring Proficiency in MuleSoft AnyPoint API platform on designing and implementing SOAP, REST APIs and Schedulers. Experience in building complex Mule Flows, Sub Flows, Scopes, Error handling strategies, DataWeave transformation, Validation and Flow Controls. Good hands on experience using mule connectors like Salesforce, File, HTTP, Webservice Consumer, Database, JMS-ActiveMQ, SMTP, S3, SNS, SQS other connectors as a part of integration usage. Experience on testing frameworks like Junit, Munit (for Mule), Easy Mock, Mockito. Experience in Project build, deployment using various technologies like Apache Ant, Apache Maven and using continuous integration tool like Jenkins and Continuum. Knowledge on no-SQL database like MongoDB, AWS DynamoDB and relational databases like Oracle, DB2. Strong understanding of SOA methodologies and service architectures.
