Show Me The Way to Success

Dr. Ahmad Glover · Thursday, September 18th 2008 at 2:40PM · 4737 views
Hello all,

I’ve been very busy this week but wanted to share some quick thoughts with y’all. Whenever there is economic uncertainty…there are also HUGE opportunities. If you know how to read the tea leafs… there is a ton of money to be made from the current state of things. Once the smoke clears and the dust settles, there are companies and industries that will dominate the American wealth landscape.

Historically, African Americans have been slow to reap the rewards of these type economic shifts. I’d like to change that. If there is enough interest…I will form an investment club open only to members of BIA. As a team, we will learn the methods to the madness and invest in emerging companies that have/will be targeted to get America out of our economic rut. As you can imagine, the folks who own shares in these companies will make “A LOT” of money. If you want to be part of our investment club...I’d love to have you on the team.

If you like this idea please let me know. As noted, I am extremely busy this week…so please forgive me if I am slow in my reply. Things will move very fast once I hit the go button. I’d like to get at least 50 people to get started.

Chat with ya’ll soon…

P.S. investments will be small $5- $25 at a time. So everyone can participate!

The wealth of the wicked is laid up for the righteous, my Daddy says. I'm in! Thank you for the offer and opportunity. I look forward to hearing more about it!

Austin Hughes Thursday, September 18th 2008 at 2:52PM

Ahmed I'd love to be part of this group, I have my TD ameritrade account, but being in an investment club is what I've wanted to do, so keep me posted, put me down as one of your first 50.

Nzingha Asantewa Ali Thursday, September 18th 2008 at 2:53PM

Ahmad -

I was just thinking the same thing. I've been a member of an investment club some years ago. I know you are right about the market. The time is now to act. My chief concern would be that we have a screening process. Count me in on the development plans.

Lila Polite Thursday, September 18th 2008 at 3:03PM

I'd be interested, but agree on a screening process

Cheryl Hendrix Thursday, September 18th 2008 at 3:07PM

Count me in. What's your plan (specific)

phil marlow Thursday, September 18th 2008 at 3:08PM

My objective in life concerning wealth is to just watch it destroy the souls of individual. Only the meek shall survive.

Count me in Doc.

Dr. Ahmad Glover Thursday, September 18th 2008 at 4:22PM

I know folks are itching for details. Please trust that all the details will be laid out in the club. Not one penny of your money will be used/ spent/ invested without your full knowledge. I absolutely believe in full disclosure!

The goal here is to teach folks how to make lots of money...even after you've made a ton of money and moved on.

Clarence,

Your BBB team is invited to participate. Although I love your idea with BBB…I’d like to make this available to brothers and sisters who don’t have a business and/or can’t spare $14 per month. This will be open to all BIA members.

I just got off the phone with a three dear friends who will give “the millionaires perspective” to the club. I pray this Black investment club idea will catch on. I’d love to see groups all over the country investing each month. Maybe as a people we’ll stop talking about what we need to do…and start doing it!

I agree with
Clarence, it would be great if everyone would get a better understanding on how the Black Business Builders Club really works http://www.blackbusinessbuilders.com/compp... I don't see why anybody can't afford 0.46 cent day, "You Cannot Make Money and Excuses at the Same Time", http://www.blackbusinessbuilders.com/?1675

I'm game for any opportunity that will help us come together work together to help each other make money, Each One Reach One, count me in

Justin Tomlinson Saturday, September 20th 2008 at 9:25AM

I would like to hear more about this opportunity. This is something I have advocated for a long time. I have family members who have formed investment clubs and gotten a lot out of it. I would also suggest that we look at pooling our resources to invest in our own businesses. Given the state of the American economy, we might want to start to invest in ourselves. Can we really do any worse?

Justin Tomlinson Saturday, September 20th 2008 at 9:29AM

I would also like to suggest that we do it regionally. For example, especially after reading everyone's comments, we might want to section it by state or city or county or whatever, and work together to form something nationally.

Benny Douglas Saturday, September 20th 2008 at 12:29PM

Good Idea keep me informed. Thank you

john mitchell Saturday, September 20th 2008 at 4:07PM

The FDIC gaurantees our bank money--your idea of an investment club sounds real good--but will our investment be guaranteed?

O Z Gore Saturday, September 20th 2008 at 5:04PM

A great idea. I'm in.

Selena Jones Saturday, September 20th 2008 at 9:58PM

Please count me in on this opportunity......... Thanks

Lesley Knight Sunday, September 21st 2008 at 10:45AM

CM, Daddy say, the first will be last and the last will be first, so don't sweat. It does look like a party in here, don't it?

Hey Doc, this is really starting to look BIG, and we believers know when it's this big, it's GOT TO BE A GOD THING! Keep it comin!

Bobette Nelms Sunday, September 21st 2008 at 11:06PM
