Black Folks and Astrology

It's interesting you would post this because I have been debating these topics with others. I also have pointed out how numerology is apparent in the bible but people are blind to the obvious, I guess. Thanks for the link!

Would you be shocked to learn that the bible is used by some as a code book to decrypt their mysteries? What if the multiple indications of 12 tribes, sons, lands, temples, etc...are really symbolic of other meanings? What if another ancient religion highjacked the bible and Christian faith to keep their much older faith from dying out?

What if knowledge of that information was enough to make a band of soldiers very rich? What if?

Good question...but I don't even have the space to get into it the way I would like to. I will say however, that there is no more evidence of truth in religion than there is in astrology or UFO's for that matter. I can find individuals that can offer 'testimonials' about the definitiveness of all three.

I just want people to put more effort into something so important that it rules every aspect of our lives. Again, I feel strongly that people should believe...but know what you believe in and why you believe it. I hope my questions don't make folks loss faith...my goal is to get people to explore, learn, and deepen their faith.

Faith is a powerful emotion that can lead to self growth. Blind faith is a powerful political tool...often used against our people.

I like your answer except that Isaiah was Jewish...and they don't believe in hell: Olam HaEmet - "the World of Truth,". So the words of Isaiah were just to warn folks that the star readers could not save them from a wrath that was coming. This was not a story about hell...

The Bible goes against astrology clearly. We have the right to believe what we want...

Dr. all I can say is that I am true to my Gemini sign. And, because I can not deny my own behavior , that has already past right after I have made a cause of action, I would have to say that my enviornment may have a hand in all.
