University progresses with medical marijuana program with first $2.15M payment
Southern University, through the Southern University Agricultural Research and Extension Center, continues to move forward with being the only HBCU in the nation to grow and cultivate medical marijuana. New majority owners of Advanced Biomedics, Illera Health, presented the university with its first $2.15M check at Monday's SU System Board special meeting.
