Our recruiting firm is partnered with a large nonprofit in Fort Lauderdale, FL, to find them a Junior Accountant. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, generous holiday and PTO time and 401k with employer only contribution.

This is a direct hire opportunity ideally paying a salary between $55k-$60k.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform bank reconciliations
• AP/AR transactions
• Prepare and post required journal entries
• Organize supporting documentation for financial statements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or related field
• 1-3 years of accounting clerk/ bookkeeping experience
• Accounting software as well as Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
